Our mud yard is no more. We now have a grass yard! I tried to find some "before" pictures, since I failed to take any before this project got started.
Here is the front of the house before:

The right side is now mulch and plants - we have a variety of hostas, rhododendron, peonies, boxwood, hydrangea, and some others. They will all grow up and spread. The rock by the lamp post has 3 rose bushes around it. That's all new sod on the left side of the lawn.

Those two middle windows will be replaced with a sliding door in a couple of weeks. We can't wait for the project to be completely finished! Now all we need is a tricycle for Olive so she can ride around the patio.
We have to water all the sod every day so we've been outside a lot moving the hose around.
Here's an interesting picture I took of Olive by the patio this morning, I think the camera was on a weird setting, but I like how it turned out:
