Farm fun

This weekend we attended a lovely family farm day hosted by our friends Mike, Ara and Wren. It was a gorgeous day that felt like fall, there were many little kiddos running wild on the farm, and Olive was more than pleased to have free reign to run with her buddies Luna and Wren.

There were chickens to feed (they like fresh grapes from the arbor above):

A very cool tree with the middle cut out:

A hammock built for a gang of girls:

Or just one giggling girl at a time:

Fields for chatting in:

A hayride (with turns for each kiddo to help drive):

Honeycrisp apples fresh from the tree:

A dog named Honey who loved running in circles almost as much as the girls loved shouting, "Honey!" and throwing sticks for her to fetch:

Very friendly horses who loved to eat grass:

Check out the booty crack on that little girl:

Wren showing Olive the place:

A chance to roast marshmallows:

And eat s'mores, of course:

Pretending to drive while eating a s'more:

It was a lovely, lovely, day. Great people, great food, great place, great time.

  1. GREAT photos! Seriously, does it get any cuter than those darn kids? No. No it does not.

Glad you guys came and I'm excited to hang at your place in a couple of weeks!
