Landscaping

Our mud yard is no more.  We now have a grass yard!  I tried to find some "before" pictures, since I failed to take any before this project got started.

Here is the front of the house before:

And here it is now:

The right side is now mulch and plants - we have a variety of hostas, rhododendron, peonies, boxwood, hydrangea, and some others.  They will all grow up and spread.  The rock by the lamp post has 3 rose bushes around it.  That's all new sod on the left side of the lawn.

This is the best picture I could find of this part of the backyard before:

And here it is after, with the new patio and sod:

Those two middle windows will be replaced with a sliding door in a couple of weeks.  We can't wait for the project to be completely finished!  Now all we need is a tricycle for Olive so she can ride around the patio.

We have to water all the sod every day so we've been outside a lot moving the hose around.

Here's an interesting picture I took of Olive by the patio this morning, I think the camera was on a weird setting, but I like how it turned out:

"Helping" with the hose - or doing her own version of limbo:

And a nice, classic, Olive look:
